The History of fontrick door
Michael Fontaine & Thomas Bathrick established Fontrick Door in 1991, building cabinets and some interior and exterior doors. In order to make the business grow fast they offered any profile. At the time they did not own every profile, but they knew how to get them. As the business grew they had the need to expand. Now located in Batavia, New York, we manufacture custom hardwood doors and windows. We offer premium interior doors, exterior doors, french doors, louver doors, screen doors, screen / storm doors, exterior bi-folding doors, fire doors, and our newest product hurricane resistant or impact doors. We also offer premium hardwood windows, now including impact windows. Our current success is based on employee conscientiousness and commitment to deliver quality products.
In 2002 we began investing in state of the art equipment, which allowed more time for research in order to expand our product lines. That is when we started working on developing our exterior bi-folding doors and our new hurricane resistant impact doors. Now in 2010 we are working on improving our lines even more by offering impact resistant windows as well. We hope to continue to expand to the south and to the west, based on our customer demands and become your door company of the future.
